Once your order is validated, you will receive your transport label via email 10 days prior to the date of collection of your shipment. The label can be printed on plain paper or on a self-adhesive label.
HOW TO ATTACH YOUR LABEL PROPERLY?
Regardless of the type of paper that you choose, we recommended that you attach your label by placing it in a transparent pocket/sheet protector and then attach it to your shipment with enough wrapping tape around it so that it cannot come loose during shipping. Place it, preferably, on the largest side of your shipment, avoiding the angles and making sure to never hide the information and the barcode.
WHAT NOT TO DO WITH YOUR TRANSPORT LABEL
DO NOT attach your transport label(s) using string, cable ties, staples, pins, or by simply running tape around the edge of the label. These methods are not secure enough and are very likely to have your transport label(s) come off.
As the label(s) contain the tracking information for your shipment, Nannybag cannot accept liability for any loss or delays resulting from poorly attached labels becoming detached. To ensure that you have a great experience, please take this info into consideration while preparing your shipment, and make sure that your label is not going anywhere during its entire transportation.
WHAT ABOUT PROFORMA INVOICES?
If sending internationally, you'll receive both a transport label and a proforma invoice. These documents must be printed and attached securely and separately to remain visible to the relevant customs authority.
You will have to print the proforma invoice in three copies:
- one that you should include inside the baggage ;
- one to stick on the baggage, in a transparent pocket/sheet protector ;
- one to give the carrier when they come to pick up your shipment.
