We recommend that you secure your luggage with a cable tie (where you would normally place a padlock), as the cable tie can be cut without damaging the luggage if your shipment must be inspected by the authorities.
Your baggage may be refused if it is locked by a code.
If baggage requires an inspection for any reason, our carriers or customs authorities may open your baggage without notice, but will usually hold the shipment until the code is provided or the authorization to break the lock is issued, which may result in transit delays.
If your baggage is locked (including combination locks and TSAs), Nannybag cannot be held responsible for delays caused by bag locking, damage to the shipment caused by removing the padlock, or replacing broken or missing locks.
Many customers pack their luggage in plastic, for example, heat-shrinkable film, plastic film, to protect it. Please note that, for security reasons, drivers may request that the contents of the baggage be displayed on it. If you have packed the baggage, you may have to remove the packaging. For these reasons, we recommend that you securely attach your labels to the packaging.
Please do not attach any extra item to the baggage: all contents must be sealed in the baggage.
