Shipments may appear to be "on hold" for a number of reasons. For example, it can happen if a shipment arrives at a depot later than expected and has missed its connection, or if it is waiting for a connection that leaves later in the day.
Shipments can also be scanned as "on standby" following what is called a "force majeure event", such as extreme weather conditions, snow, or floods, preventing any vehicle from moving safely.
Our team monitors pending digitized shipments to ensure that they are delivered as quickly as possible.
