Why are there prohibited products?
Updated over a week ago

The reason why certain products are prohibited is essentially safety. Preventing risks for the people as well for the goods and the environment is an absolute priority. Whether it regards packing, marking, labeling, mandatory documentation or bans, the regulation implemented makes it possible to identify dangerous goods and regulate their transport, especially from one country to another.

There are restrictions on the carriage of goods when they are likely to:
- impair the physical integrity of a person ;
- harm the environment in case of contact or spill during transport.

Other bans also exist due to the value, rarity, or unique nature of the property, which can not be replaced in the event of loss or damage (identity papers, precious jewelry, etc...).
