How to successfully package your shipment?

  • We recommend securing your luggage with plastic film or tape. This should secure the loosened handles/straps and protect your bag from scratches and shocks during transport.

  • If your suitcase has a pull handle, please tape it down so that it does not slip or get damaged. Your luggage must be both secure and easy to handle.

  • We recommend avoiding having any strings or handles stick out, to make sure that your packaging is smooth and homogeneous and can easily be handled.

  • Carriers use scanners to read labels, so your transport label must be properly printed and securely attached. Don't forget to remove any old labels.

  • Please verify that the items that you send do not appear on the Prohibited Items List, as carriers are not allowed to send certain items. Not doing so means that you're taking the high risk of seeing your luggage blocked or not compensated in case of loss or damage.

  • Baggage packing is optional. The most important thing is to put a shipping label inside the bag and on the suitcase, as described in this article.
